i like this porgram however your missing items like. signs, noteblocks, jukebox's, rails, torches, stairs, levers, buttons, pressure plates, doors, i have a few others but i forgot the. can you add some of these even if its a texture with a latter on them for recognizing them.

I would definitely hope to see Minecart rails, and now powered rails, and both redstone torches and normal torches added so we can make awesome railways.
Other than that its a great tool, and im using it constantly.

So I did some fiddling and had a lot of trouble getting the 3D thing to work. As it turns out, YOU MUST DOWNLOAD THE JDK. Java3D requires the JDK (as opposed to the JRE). Also, stick to 32-bit downloads (ie. anything labeled x86).

This structure planner is EXCELLENT! It's the best planner out there. Nothing worse than building something to suddenly realize you've made a symmetry error and have to move every single block of a particular building another way.

If I may make a few suggestions?
1. I believe a line tool would be highly beneficial. Square and Circle tools would be nice too, but I can live without them. Drawing long straight edges with a mouse for buildings can be a bit gruesome, generally leaves a number of erasing for me to do.

2. Perhaps a second variation or a toggle for plan view, to see the structure like we see the 'hightmap' view, but also make it editable?

3. A sort of supergrid toggle or block numbering on the Y and X axis, like you would see on graphs? Perhaps a number marking every 5 blocks over? Or a toggle-able supergrid of 5x5 blocks? The y and x axis highlighter is superb, but still leaves me counting many blocks.

All in all this is an extraordinary program! I'll be following the development every step of the way! LOVE IT!

I love this! It's a great and useful program. Is it going to be updated soon? It would nice if there could be things such as rails, redstone, doors etc. It would be nice if some new blocks such as these could be implemented at a later date. I think it just needs a ruler, so I can easily count blocks and a zoom on the 3D projection to view towers better, other than that an awesome program that I am loving.

I'd like to point out a few things about the program which could be improved.

One of the buggy things I noticed was after loading a large pixel image (to scale) was extremely laggy, even on a high end PC.
It takes a long time to continuously redraw the image, and leaves no room for anything else to happen.

A feature I would add is being able to select all pixels of a certain color, and be able to texture them with a certain tile with flood fill.

Finally the Windows version of the program doesn't seem to work, at all. I was hoping to try and use that to pixel an image at a faster stable speed.

Super jzzaed about getting that know-how.

There seems to be something wrong with the latest build of this. After downloading it, I followed the tips to bring up pixel art, but find that the program won't do anything but sit on my desktop and stare at me. No "image" tab, no nothing. Furthermore it won't import any structures that I have, schematics I have already built in MCedit.

I clicked on a download link, thinking this was your app, and it turned out to be a virus. I'm very glad to have good anti-virus software to stop it. Also I'm seeing ads for Sex sites and stuff. If you want to be taken seriously, take a closer look at what ads you are actually serving up, and don't burn your potential customers!

Yea simaler to lorgman, when i bring up the structure planner and select any mode all the buttons remain hidden untill i mouse ovet them or bring teh entire window out of my screen and back again, and thhn when i do that after switching between 3D view and other things the buttons are gone again. could you please fine a way to fix this problem or tell me what i might be missing

would be perfect if the 3d view worked. all you get is zoom in and turn around. you cant get a birds eye view, you cant move the camera so you can see inside buildings, etc. turned something that couldve been great into something useless

i love your Programm. It helped me a lot, because it's able to run on e.g. Netbooks or other Low-Speed-Machines.
So i can plan my Structures and Projects while i'm at the train on my way home.

Sadly, there was no update since 1.9 Pre4.
And sadly, there are no Redstone-Elements implemented.

I'd love to see an update, implementing at least the newest Blocktypes and some basic Redstone-Icons... so i cann start planning my automated farms, and so on.

Very useful, thank you. It's a pity that the Texture names & block IDs are hardcoded in the *.class files, else I'd be able to update the program to the Minecraft 1.8.1 blocks myself.

Please can you upgrade it to 1.8 Blocks please I am making a new server and making designs for the server and i need to design a jail which i am planning to use iron bars. Also could you please be able to place doors and a way to place layers below your layer and a way to place rows and collumns were you want them to go.

Feature suggestion: Could you please add one easy feature - limits for 3D view? I meant bottom(optional)|top(must have) and sides limits text fields for visualization tab. It would be perfect to have "Render" button also. Auto|Manual rendering in "3D" tab is point for user preferences.

Reason:
1. My structures are too big. Re-rendering takes few seconds and rotation of structure "before changes" is unavailable. Hard to compare changes. "Render" button would help to compare "old" and "new" structures.
2. It would be great to have and ability to render only one part of whole structure (room, pillar, tower etc). Limits box (visualization area) would be very helpful to view different floors (which could be covered by other structures in full visualization).

itd be cool if there were presets as a default value for some things like bridges so you know what it should look like first.

and domes like making the rise high makes it pointy and stuff and if values are derp it look like a tower instead of a dome.

so preset values just so you get a better idea would be nice.

Wow! I love this planner and it exeded my expectations. I understand that making doors and torches is s TON of programming, because i have no doubt that it took u a long time to program the fence posts, and anything else with empty space. Although things like that would be nice... This is an awsome program and i can not wait to run it on a computer better than a netbook ; ) Wish that the program could allow you to actully play as a charicter or floating head to observe the buildings, but i am not expecting that. well chery ho and all that good stuff. I'd like to see a copy&paste function to select several blocks and move them, if you build something wrong or have to duplicate some structure many times. (So 3D Selection would be nice. (2D Selection on Screen and an aditional textbox, where you have to choose a height to be copied))

I have a similar problem to an earlier post. I can create anything in the 'structures' tab, albeit free form or bridges, etc however I am unable to import any .schematic files, including my own which I have tried exporting and re-importing.

Any thoughts/suggestions?

I just wanted to stop by and thank you for making this program, but also to express my sadness that it seems to have fallen by the wayside. There is someone on the Minecraft forums that has apparently devised something of a fix (?) for the issues currently plaguing this wonderful tool, but he cannot release it without the consent of the author. Could we pretty please get an update to this to make it usable already, or could you give the other guy the go-ahead to release what he has done as an update or something? A huge advantage of Custom Printed T shirts is that they can be ordered in small or large quantities. If you're only doing 24 shirts with two colors on them, there is no reason to make transfers. There are a couple extra steps that a printer has to take in order to make transfers. Most printers are not setup to produce them because of the extra steps that it takes. You're paying for setup T-Shirt Printing with both methods and most all printers will not just print a few transfers. Custom Printed shirts can be produced much faster because the image is directly printed onto your garment, eliminated the extra steps necessary to produce Heat Transfers. If you have a one time event there would be no reason to have an over load of transfers made. You can order the exact number of shirts that you need. I would say the biggest plus for custom printed t shirts is that Description

I'd like to be able to use this but I am having issues. I have a 64 bit machine with java 7 and java 3d properly installed. The software runs but the gui loses pixels in hte left side texture box whenever I change to 3d mode(simple circle 10 x 1 block high). Also this happens in freeform mode(any view) I have tried both the exe and jar version. I have an i5 with 16GB memory and ATI Raedon 5770. Any ideas would be appreciated?

dont know why but it just dont push my cpu. ive tried to do some tweaks but when it needs to render the images the core speeds are still att idle. ive tried to set the cpu to 4.2ghz but as it dosent seem be processing any data the freaquenzy slows down to idle again.

taking like 20 minuites to render a 3d projection and 40 minutes to switch back again plan view

would appreciate if i could get some ideas on how to troubleshoot.

i love this program and it works great but only when i am running on version 6 of java. If i update to the latest version it does not run at all just gives me a blank screen and when you move your cursor over it shows some icons but you cannot load any schematics what so ever. so i please ask that you update this finally. I would much rather not have to go back to using mcedit.
